My holidays

For my holidays I went to the mountains in Chipmunglure. I stayed at a place called Nature Nirvana. I saw lakes, streams, temples. I also went to a lot of water falls. The rocks were so slipry I fell on my head. It hurt. After that I went to Bangalore for a few hours. And then got on a train to Chennia for Diwali.

my reflection on powers of persuasion

in the topic 'POWERS OF PERSUASION ' I learnt about ...

1. media (tv, radio etc.)
2. how to make an advertisement (you need jingle, color etc.)
3. the ads hypnotizing secrets (family fun, celebrities etc.)
4. the things people advertise & where (jobs in news papers mostly etc.)
5. how ads affect our mind (focus, gross exageration etc.)
6. persuasive language (debates)
7. how much ads cost !(sometimes millions of dollars !)
8. ETC. ETC. ETC. !

My favourite part was doing our ad plays & making ads for our product. We also learnt things about ads in other subjects, for example, english (persuasive writing + debates) and art (drawing ads) that was also lots of fun. I really enjoyed this topic and hope our next topic (the one about entrepreneurs) is also fun.

my diwali holidays

my diwali holidays were fun . i was stuck here most of the time because of my piano exam & my familys big diwali party which they have every single year but we managed to go to some places which were fun . my family alltogether got 8 huge boxes of firecrackers or patakas we burnt them at my uncles house there were all kinds of them!!the diwali party was fun to .
i spent my spare time doing HW ,watching tv &going to places in bangalore

My Trip to Dehli and Agra

On November 4 2007 I left for Delhi. I reached there in the night. The next morning I went to see the INDIA GATE. It was built for all the soldiers who died in the wars.






We also went to see the Delhi Gate. It was one of the entrances to Delhi during the Mughal dynasty. I also went to see the Qutab minar . We saw the Purana Qila . This is one of the places in the Indian folktale Mahabharata. I went to see Jantar Mantar which you can understand more about the stars and planets without technology. I went to see the Rashtrapati Bhawan which is the president’s house as well as The Parliament house. The next day I went to Agra. I saw the famous Taj Mahal. It was a very beautiful sight. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his dead wife Mumtaz Mahal. We also went to see the Agra Fort. This is the fort that Shah Jahan was kept prisoner by his own son Aurangzeb who wanted to become king. Shah Jahan spent the last days of his life looking at the Taj Mahal. On the last day we went to the Lotus temple. Also the Red Fort. There is a lot of history behind these places. Delhi is a very wonderful place. This is how I spent my Diwali holiday.

How I spent my holidays

SPORTS

I live in Prestige Acro Polis. Last week we had Sport events. I particited in chess and carrom.I won the first game in chess.In carrom I lost . In the second round I lost in chess.I participated in swimming Backstroke.I came 3th place.The tennis match is on the 11th of Nov and the running race is on the 18th of Nov .I am participating in both events.

DIWALI

We bought a lot of crackers on Wednesday Like: Rocket, Flower pots and Chakra and lots of sparklers. We burst lots of crackers yerterday.I burst a 300 wala. it was fun and I liked it a lot.Today night there is going to lots of rockets, atom bombs,10,000 and lots of flower pots.it looks beautful and we enjoyit every year.I bought new clothes and made sweets and I enjoyed the most.

Debate For Ads Should Exist

Advertising should exist because without it people won’t be familiar with what they see in the market. Advertising should also exist because if an ad can show someone what the product can do. Advertising should also exist so if someone loses their dog they can put up an advertisement asking to help the person find the dog. Advertising should also exist because if someone sees a poster of a movie they might think it is boring and if they see the ad on the movie on TV and if there’s a video clip of the movie they might like it. Advertising should also exist because if there is a movie on TV the advertisement might remind them when it is going to come on TV Advertising should also exist because in between shows if someone is bored of watching the show and if they see an ad which has a catchy song they might get cheered up. Advertisements should also exist because if someone wants get a snack or go to the bathroom when an advertisement comes they might be able to get a snack or go to the bathroom. Advertisements should also exist because movies on TV always need to finish at a certain time and the advertisements help it do that. Advertising should also exist to entertain people if the show they’re watching is boring. That is concludes my reasons that advertising should exist.

Vacation in GOA

In the Diwali Break we went to Goa. On the first day once we came to our hotel called the Taj Fort Aguada Resort we just rested and settled into our room. On the second day we went swimming in the hotel's pool, it started to rain so we went out of the pool waiting for my dad (who went excersising), the once he came we ate at a resteraunt near the beach. By our hotel there was a giant boat just sitting there, and the story was that 8 years ago in the monsoon the anchor of that boat broke and then the boat drifted out to sea and got stuck, so now for 8 years it has been sitting there. On the third day I went to Alex's house in Goa and decided we would swim so we went to Mel's (I think Mel is one of Alex's aunts) appartment and went swimming we ate pizza, played the Wii, and played the PS3. On the fourth day we went to the "the Jungle Book" first we went riding on a elephant, then we went on a bull-o-cart, then we went to the only stone temple in Goa, and last but not least we went into a fresh water rapid (a rather weak one) i always went sliding down the rapids later on the elephants cam into the rapids to have some fun I cleaned them and sat on one so that it could spray me. On the fifth day we went home. So overall it was a fun holiday!
