grade 5's feild trip to lalbagh
eco-friendly bags with pouchs and nature notebooks. we sat on a enourmous rock which used to be a volcnao and talked to our guide about plants. this got kind of boring at times so i just talked to ruchi. finally we started exploring the different trees in lalbagh. we noted down stuf in our notebooks. i was alergic to some trees in lalbagh and i felt sick so i did not participate to much. i just stayed with ms.mohua. at the end we got to climb a huge tree:the biggest in lal bagh. the nurse who accompanied us told me not too because i might be allergic but it looked really fun so i climed it anyway. then our guide made us reflect. it was really boring. the trip was ok. i liked the bus ride better.

pyp exhibition: the begining
- polltuion and global warming
- drugs
- save the animals
i am in the pollution and global warming group. our central idea is: 'global warming is a serious threat to the earth and it is our responsibility to stop pollution in order to prevent global warming and save our planet.' in our classroom since there were lots of people in my group we split up into three other groups. i am in a group with zoish, alex, jere, faizan and shahajii.
preparing for the exibition is hard work, but really fun too!!

The Math Exhibition

The day was about to come and all of us were putting the tables into there places. But Teju and I got separated because Nikita needed a lot of help so Teju went to her group and me alone. But somehow I was happy to be able to manage talking about a topic alone. And I had to seat next to Ricky and Nicolas who were talking about “how to make tangram DESIGNS”.
The PYP had the math exhibition on Wednesday 19th March 2008 from prep 1 to grade 5. Our grade talked about all kinds of things we learnt in math: large numbers, tangrams, graphs, coordinates, number patterns, transformations, and much, much more.
I told the customers what tangrams were and I showed them how to make tangram pieces, then I passed the pieces to my classmates and they showed the people how to make different shapes out of it.
I really liked the math exhibition because I had a lot of fun and my throat didn’t hurt like on the day of the science exhibition which is one of the reasons why I liked the math exhibition better and the other reason is because we knew exactly what other people were talking about.

My surgery
My doctor showed my mom and my dad a video of the surgery. They even saw the people cutting me open!!! My mom thought the video was really neat and my dad almost barfed.
I am looking forward to coming to school soon.
