interesting news about space

Everyday we bring in news about space there are so many interesting new things we learn which we cannot find in the class library books because they were printed around three years back and does not have the latest space news. Here is some interesting space news I have learned about so far…
Þ Mercury is shrinking! Scientists have proved this because of the creases on the surface. I think that it is weird because the universe is expanding not decreasing. Maybe if Mercury gets any smaller it would have to be declared not a planet just like Pluto!
Þ India is sending a lunar module to the moon called the ‘Chandrayann1’which will orbit the moon for a while and then land on it. It will launch around April this year.
Þ China is sending a space craft too. It is called ‘chang1’. I am glad that now it is not only countries like Russia and USA sending things to space, now even developing countries like India.
Þ Mysterious metallic Mercury actually has ice! According to me Mercury is a weird planet.
Þ There was an asteroid that flew past earth recently. Another asteroid that just passed Mars might hit earth!
Þ An American spy satellite might hit the Earth. It is most likely to hit an ocean. I hope it doesn’t cause any damage!
Þ A weird woman was found on Mars. Later I found out it was just a rock.
Þ People start planning, designing and building the Virgin Galactic. The world’s first commercial space craft!
I hope I find out more interesting news like this!
