In My Opinion A Hero Is….

In my opinion a hero is determined and inspires you. He does things for others. Heroes are caring and risk-takers.

One person I know is who is determined is Kalpana Chawala. From a very small town to space. She was determined because she never gave up. She always kept on trying. If at first she did not succeed she tried and tried again. Heroes are also people like Marie Curie who help others and not just think about themselves. She was born poor but she still worked with radio active elements even though it was bad for her health. She found a cure from a deadly disease called cancer to help those suffering even though she didn’t have the disease herself.

Some people think Shah Rukh Khan and Spiderman are true heroes but they are just famous. They do what they do just for money. I think they are just actors.


Heroes are caring like Mother Teresa was. She was caring, a risk-taker, brave, and determined. Mother Teresa helped people who had leprosy and who we would not even touch. Heroes are people who inspire others. A hero is someone who is a risk-taker like Jim Corbett. He captured man eating tigers even though they didn’t harm him but harmed others. People everyday are also heroes like firefighters and police. They risk there lives to help others.

In olden days people used to think that if you were strong and could lead the army you were a hero. But today Mother Teresa is not a hero because she is strong. In those they used to say wow they are so brave. If you think someone is brave it does not mean they are physically fit you could be mentally fit like Anne Frank. She had to live in one house for 2 years she never gave up hope. She would always think tomorrow will be a better day.
